MANUFACTURERS PROCESS CONTROL

GENERAL POLICY
Apex Fasteners operations are planned and documented. Personnel performing various operations are provided with process operator instructions. Processes are controlled and monitored to ensure continuing process capability.

MANUFACTURERS PROCESS CONTROL
The production processes shall be controlled for a stable quality level.

OPERATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
An operational flow chart shall be available indicating each stage of process and the related task to be performed.

CONTROL CHARTS USED IN PROCESS
Each operator's workstation shall be provided with a chart in which that operator must comply.

DISPOSITION OF IN-PROCESS DEFECTS
Upon finding defective product during production, production shall be stopped immediately. The operator shall then notify the Quality Assurance Department and they shall issue a defective investigation report.

The Quality Assurance Department shall tag the defective parts and remove them from the normal flow of inventory for further disposition.

The Quality Assurance Department shall confirm results of corrective action.
